Anyone make a pedal that sounds like a breaking up DC30 (EF86)?

I know Rockett is about to release one.. But, are there any others? I've got a somewhat Marshally 6v6 amp and I miss that ef86 grind and chimey goodness.. I know a lot of of it has to do with the el84's as well.

    Cheers!

DC30 is a spin on the AC30... so anything that chases that sound...

I believe Tech 21 has a vox-based pedal... and Joyo has one as well

I mean something that chases the ef86 sound. Not the typical top-boost

Did the hotbox do the ef86 thing? That's truly in question form... I'm not sure, but I've heard it's a c30 in a pedal...? (which of course makes me think "yeah... right":))

I do think the Hotbox sounds like a DC30, but perhaps more the 12AX7 than the click channel. You might look into a Fryette SAS, it's an EF86 running at full voltage and runs the gamut from clean to over the top gain, with lots of spikey, trebley goodness. And the price is right: $119 from GC.
