If so what did you think about it?
Here's one with an ODS30.
I had a 2x12 ported with Tonespotters w/ a Fuchs ODS30. It is a great cabinet. Tight bass, light weight and small. Great cabinet. Well worth the price of admission. I sold it recently to another forum member and kinda wish I had hung onto it. So, I think it's great
Isn't it the same width as the head if you set it up vertically?
Jeff, I think it is a close fit if I remember correctly. I used it as displayed above. I can't remember exactly. Sorry man
No worries. Just asking
Yes. I recently picked up his compact 2x12 with an open back. I use an ODS50 with it and it fits just right, vertically. In fact, I ran it last weekend vertically with great results. Sometimes I like it's vertical-ness because it gets one of the speakers a little higher up off the floor. I run it on an auralex gramma too. I really like how compact and portable it is.
I have to say it's one of the best 2x12's I've come across. The low end stays in check and it's so 3-D sounding. A fine product for sure and highly recommended.
Hey Hottub - any chance of you snapping a pic of your set up?
I think Galo is running a Fuchs head with a Hermida cabinet...
here's some pics.... used a couple other cabs for point of reference in terms of its' footprint....
