Anyone played a Gibson Sonex Deluxe 2xHB

Been offered one for £275. 2 HB version. Are they any good?

I played one and it was bloody awful, heavy and not made very nicely.
Having said that it has to be worth £275 if you don't like it im sure you could sell it to a kid who would want it over an Epiphone.

My bandmate has one- it sounds good but those pickups are HOOOOOTTTTT! Not much clean headroom unless you have a hella high wattage amp. Cheers.

Cheers guys. Worth askin the question, but I guess you gets what ya pays for.
I reckon I'm better spending more and getting something better.
I play a LP standard and am after a second guitar for live work.
I'm used to LPs and am happy with the scale length, so a LP studio is probably a better bet.
