That top pic is not current but she still looks pretty good. Supposedly, she lives in England. She was an early B.C. Rich bass endorser.

I have her on my Myspace friends list, and unlike a lot of other such people, she actually interacts with fans on a personal level... it isn't just "my tour is going so and so" or "the new album blah blah" It's "I had a great time playing with the grand kid", having discussions about life, etc... She's a very cool lady.

She lives a couple of kilometers away here on Mallorca, and has indeed aged quite gracefully for being a real hell-raiser in her prime.

She had a couple of US hits in the late 70s-early 80s, like "Stumbling In" and "If You Can't Give Me Love." I remember another one named something like "Someone Else' Lipstick."

But she was never as big in the US as she was in the UK. A couples years later, Joan Jett did Suzi's act (sort of) and became huge. Chalk it up I guess to the US being behind the times in pop music music, as usual!

I liked all her early stuff but my favourite is "Your Mama Won't Like Me". Liked it as a kid still like it now! Never liked her music after that album. She was so hot when she was young - not too bad now! - but her music did become a bit too "nice" for me. But "Your Mama..."is great.

The guitarist was Len Tuckey, who was her husband for a while.

I first saw Suzi in 1973 at MSG, she was an opener for Wet Willie and Grand Funk Railroad. I still play her tune, Devil Gates Drive.

Theres a place I know where the kids all go; down at Devil Gates Drive. Oh yeah I remember her.

Played a gig with her in Calgary sometime in the mid 70s. Her guitar player, Len Tucky (sp?) used to play for the Nashville Teens. It was a good band, but the assholes in the audience didn't appreciate her and pelted her with bottles. Come to think of it, they didn't like my band either! She has a regular radio show on BBC that's quite good.
