I always liked them quite a bit. Just about wore out a copy of their debut, Surprise Attack, when it came out. I always liked their mix of blues and hard rock.

Didn't pay attention to them back then, but thanks to this thread, i will check them out.

Interesting how so many of the singers back then sounded like Mark Slaughter...

Saw them once in the early 90's. Same show with Jackyl, Lynch Mob, and Warrant. Tora Tora was great that night. Saw them a few years ago in Memphis at a one off benefit reunion. Still a great band and the singer's voice was still there.

Hell yeah! One of my favorite bands from that era. I have no idea why they weren't more popular. Another highly underrated band from that time was Junkyard.

They are from Memphis and after they were "done" Patrick Francis ended up working at a local music store (The Musitron). He was the sales guy I worked with when I bought a Les Paul circa 1996.

Loved the debut album back in the day. Catchy songs and mean blues based solos. Singer had pipes too.

Yup. Wore out the debut album. Loved Walkin' Shoes, 28 Days, etc. Great band.
