    Carl Martin Echotone? I've seen that one a while ago already, if I remember right.

    If it had modulation, it would compete better as most of the newer units have it.

    yeah that's true. besides that minor flaw it's a great sounding pedal.

    I think that Carl Martin gear just gets snubbed around here for some reason. I've had a few of their pedals and still use my Delayla. All of the models I've tried have been great sounding.

    It sounds killer. As others have already said, though, I'd love if it had modulation.

    yeah... but you can add the mod to it via the effects loop...

    Great sounding pedal. Perhaps more versatile since you can choose your own flavor of modulation to put in the effects loop.

    Tone-wise it reminds me of my Digilog, just with longer delays. Nice tones.

    For $400, I'd get the damage control timeline - does everything this unit can do plus much much more.
