They look somewhat Barden-like. Anyone tried them? Anyone tried them that can compare them to Bardens? Or is that not the point?

I've got several Lawrence pups, some new, some pretty old. I like them all. I really liked a set of Bardens I tried in my Tele though, and might be inclined to switch out the current Lawrences (280, 290), if the twin blade Lawrences cop the Barden sound at BL prices.

I'm not familier with Bill's 2 blade p/u but I spent some time with him at NAMM recently and he demoed the new desighn he has been telling me about and they are really cool.
They are set up with a variable inductance control that changes the pickup characteristic from glassy clean to screamin' mean without a shift in amplitude! really well thought out design.
