Anyone tried burstbucker pros in an lp custom???

    I'm well impressed with the burstbucker pros that Gibson have in some of their lp's.
    My LP custom has a set of 70's dimarzios in it (a super distortion and a paf) and they are a massive improvement on the stock pickups, but they don't quite have the raunchy grind of the bb pros in the lp standard.

    I wondered if anyone had tried em in an LP custom?!?!

    I recently bought a new 2008 Les Paul Custom with the intention of replacing the stock pickups with a pair of Gibson 57 Classic's. After I played the guitar for a few weeks I decided to stay with the stock 490/498's , they just sounded to good to replace.
