I just came across this pedal, the Mad Professor Simble PreDriver, demo on You Tube.

Sounds very good. Wondering if anyone has it or has any experience with it.

Also wondering about why it basically has the same name as the Simble Overdrive. Is the circuit of the PreDriver a variation of the Simble Overdrive pedal ?

Simble Predriver and Simble overdrive are completely different circuits, not a variation. The designer says that Predriver works best first in chain, even before compressors. This way it works best with your volume knob from the guitar. Simble overdrive, however, can work fantastic after the other boost/drive pedal when stacking, thanks!
