i'll get soon a germanium oxfuzz...the oxdrive? mmm...you're right, but since it's a rangemaster you must know what to expect.
The point is: this guy has great ears so it should be fine.

Actually I just ordered and his shipping quote was very cheap for shipping "in Toronto" so I think he has to be. Damn, $100 US plus a couple of bucks shipping for a rangemaster clone handwired and loaded with a gold Mullard OC44 (plus he will socket it and give you two other trannies to experiment).

Given Ken's rep, how could I say no? Money went out this morning. Hoping to see it next week.

I've had one since last December. It's a basic rangemaster clone, great build quality, sounds great. The socketed tranny is a nice option and when I ordered mine it came with at least 8 if not more(can't remember now) tranny options. Ken's a great guy to deal with. You really can't go wrong. The only caveat is that it's built to rangemaster specs and it doesn't have the switch options that a lot of them have to switch between treble/mid/ full boost. In that regard it can seem to cut a lot of bass depending on what your using it with. Overall great product, great builder

Got my Ox Drive yesterday. I specifically asked for no socket and just the best transistor for my rig (Les Paul, low output HBs, into late 60s Marshall 1987 clone)

Holy ****!!! This is the best treble booster I've ever used. I like it even better than a particularly sweet sounding AM Beano Boost I had (to be fair, that's an obscenely awesome pedal and I could see some preferring it).

At last night's band practice the riffs and leads were just flowing. Phenomenal build quality, the builder worked to meet my specific needs and an insanely low price. Clearly, I'm impressed.
