I just came across this product : http://prime-vibe.com/

Similar to ToneRite, primeVibe differs in that it's cheaper, has two transducers to place on the instrument being "seasoned", and uses your own music source (iPod, computer, CD player, etc) to provide the vibrations.

I know people around here generally disparage such devices, but it seems to me they could provide at least some of the "playing-in" benefits of a string instrument in a drastically shorter time.

Anyone have any experience with these (or even with ToneRite as well)?
