I'm considering getting back to computer based recording and the one thing I always hated when using a computer was mousing to play, stop, rewind, etc. Does anyone use a trasnport with Logic and if so, which do you recommend? I'm considering the Apogee Duet so I don't need one with any other features like inputs or anything. Thanks...

Do you mean the Frontier Design Tranzport?

If so, I use one with Logic, and it's literally plug and play, no programming, works great. Amazing little box. Gives you not only transport controls, but also track name, metering, track arming, soling, moving to next track, punch in and out, etc etc.

I just recently got it, and love it to death.

I have an Axiom 61 midi controller that has transport keys on it. I have it set up so I use the axiom for all of my transport needs. Way better than the stupid mouse for tracking.
