I growing tired of those black Jazz IIIs I'm using. I've learnt the nylon used for these are rather stiff. As much as I would love to try out the new Eric Johnson Jazz III I really like the idea about Dunlop casting Jazz IIIs in Ultex that might fit my style even more.

I'm curious what gauge the Ultex comes in as this is not mentioned anywhere. Are there several gauges of these or do they come in Jazz III gauge?

Anything you'd like to mention about the Ultex verion I'd very much like to hear it!

    Cheers!

Ultex is a rigid material, ultex Jazz III are the same gauge than regular ones but a little more stiff than red Jazz III. I think it's pretty close to black one in terms of rigidity but the tone is not the same, the attack is different.
