Anyone uses tube preamps/od with Amplifire?

What are your experiences?
I'm contemplating to buy Kingsley something, still didn't decide what specifically. I'm torn between Maiden, Squire or Page. Anyone have experience with Kingsley into Amplifire?

I haven't used any tube preamp pedals but I hae run the preamp of my Mark V:25 into the Amplifire for power amp modeling + IR loading. Works great! You'll have lots of tone flexibility with that combo.

I haven't used a tube pre, but I have run an Xotic SL Drive with the EL34 power amp modeling and IR turned on with pretty good results. The Xotic SL Drive through a clean setting on a Frenzel preamp into a Two Notes Torpedo CAB used to be my main non amp/head rig before I bought the Amplifire. I think the SL Drive into the power amp modeling on the Amplifire was just as good as my other setup, so I would bet the Kingsley pedals into the Amplifire would work just fine. I have almost pulled the trigger on a Kingsley Squire, and/or Constable several times, but I have been really happy just using the Amplifire.

I'm interested in reviews of the Amplifire's tube power amp sims when used with tube preamps (might get one for a smaller Synergy based tube preamp rig, smaller than my Torpedo CAB/Axe FX Ultra/RM-2.

I've used a Barber Barb EQ, an Ethos and a custom Polytone preamp pedal - all with great results. Actually much better than the modelling of the Amplifire (I only play clean, though)
