I have used a RC but was thinking of trying a fatboost, I see that fuller is coming out with a fatboost 3. I was using the rc on the clean ch. most.
What about you folks?

Did you like your RC with it?

I've tried but it's not sounded that great through the front end of the Bludo to be honest.....

Hi Woody, Yes I likes it but not enough to keep it. It does add some gain that I don't want, but maybe there is no avoiding that. I want to boost w/ NO color..if possible, and it must be true bypass as well.

Yeah that's my problem with it too. It's lovely through some other amps I have but sadly it's not ringing my bell on the current set-up. It may be as you say the nature of the beast.

Be interesting to see what you go with in the end. I've had some better results controlling the boost via the loop.........

I use the Klon as a boost on the clean channels of the Opal and Emmy, all the time on the Classic Reverb.

Keeley Katana on 5'ish with knob in does it nicely for me. A good alternative to Pre Amp Boost at times.

Yes , The katana is on the list
so far I have a short list of possibilities
1) cusack - more loud - 200.00
2) Fulltone - fatboost 3? -140.00
3) Keeley - Katana - 200.00

I have a seymour duncan booster that I use in front of my Fuchs ODS bassman mod that works pretty good. I want to replace it with either the Fuchs/plush pure gain plus or Hermida dual booster.

I use a durham sexdrive and a lovekraft pusher. The Sexdrive is very versatile and can be clean sounding, or can add some grind/bottom, and/or top end.

The Pusher adds thickness - this is one of the best bang for the buck boost pedals out there.
