Anyone using an SHO as their core overdrive tone?

I currently use a Keeley TMB with a TS after it and was wondering if I would get similar singing lead tones if I replaced the TMB with an SHO. Anyone?

Are you referring to the Z-Vex Super Hard On or the Sweet Honey Overdrive?

These acronyms are killing me! :)

If it's the sweet honey, then yes, I use it as the core OD and then use other OD's such as a Zendrive or the Sky Blue Overdrive.

I've found it to take every od pedal really well.

I find that it adds too much volume before I get any gain out of mine. I use it first as an always on "buffer." Definitely colors your tone, adds some top end and "sparkle," if you will.
