Aqua Puss vs Carbon Copy

I just received my AP in the mail and A/Bed vs my CC. I agree with all of the feedback I have ever read, that the AP is an awesome sounding slapback pedal that is limited to slapback because of short delay time (300ms) and bright tones. Another big advantage of the AP for slapback is that that delay pot has a long sweep over a relatively short range, so you can really dial it in precisely. It is not nearly as functional IMO for other delay uses as the CC.
Has anyone compared the Aqua Puss to the Boss DD3 for slapback tones? Just curious, before I start telling my country guitar friends to spend up for an AP. I no longer own a DD3 so I can't put AP against it head to head, but the DD3 was a great all around pedal.

AP has a cooler sounding straight delay, but with the modulation tweaked to taste via internal trimmers, the CC owns and the slapbacks sound more tape-like. And of course, double the delay time.

CC all day IMO. I Think I read somewhere that essentially the CC is where the original AP left off after Way Huge kinda took a dump for a while? Dont quote me on it though.

I think a better comparison would be the Echo Puss and the Carbon Copy. They have similar delay times but the Echo has much dials.

Just curious how those two stack up.

As much as I love the AP dialed in for slapback, the repeat is so bright it sits too far up in the mix. That's what I like about CC - warm and more subtle in the mix.
