Ok, first clip. What do you think? Its a bit on the dark side but my attempt to get the D-tone on the cheap. The Aracom makes me happy!!

Its the "Give It Up" clip

Powerhouse Strat w/Fralin Steelpole bridge(7.5K) - Keeley Fuzzhead - Orange Squeezer(Analogman)- Allen Accomplice(6l6) w/C-Rex - Aracom Attenuator - Niant omni mics - Onyx desk

Strat Tone control rolled off to 6, Fuzzhead set to Germanium w/ fuzz all the way off, Compressor set to about unity, Accomplice set to play clean volume just cracked open and master on 8, Aracom set to bedroom level(almost to full attenuation).

The amp sounds a bit brighter than the recording would suggest. I placed one mic off axis to the edge of the speaker and the other 6 feet out in front. shelved off above 6k on the room mic, no eq on the close mic. The close mic is most prominant. The room mic is panned to the right and has some Lexicon MPX-1 room verb panned out as well. The close mic is not panned and has some Yamaha room reverb and a bit of delay. These mics are very cheap ($50 per pair) but they seem to work if you know what to do with them.

Thanks
Eric

Nice 1st clips. The amp sounds fat and smooth. I like a little more treble, but thats just me.The rig is sweet.

Yea, a bit dark for sure. I was fighting the Strat's natural tendency to be too bright and thats what I ended up with.

Nice! I like it! I'd like to hear just a touch more bite, but Santana has had some hits with no more high end than that, so it's a cool tone for sure.
