Are there any 65 amp models that can do blackface?

    Just curious--most of the ones I've seen have a British thing going on.

    I think the Soho but i am not sure, I remember hearing that one was the most american sounding.

    I think the closest they have would likely be their 6V6 amps, the Monterey. If you're after more headroom, the Monterey HP would be the best stop.

    I've not heard that one yet, but they say it does the classic American tones but extends into the British as well.

    I suspect that if you tried it, you may find that you're not as worried emulating a blackface as you thought because you'll be so into the sound the Monterey amp is doing. Peter and Dan's amps tend to do that to you!
