I've never used them, I wonder where they are built and if they sound decent?

I've got a few, both NOS & used... They sound fine, on par with other brands out there, & microphonics are about the same too...
I'd keep eyes peeled on Ebay & pickup a couple on the cheap...
    That's how I got my Valvo's...
Not sure where they were made...
Buying tubes new or used can be a crapshoot, but I've had good luck on Ebay so far.

Valvo's I've seen were W.Germany/ Austria or relabled British....Euro either way, kinda fuzzy memory on this. Good tubes of course.

I have a few that are labeled Amperex but are in fact Valvo. European tube sounds good to me, I briefly compared it to a Mullard. I didn't draw any specific conclusions other that sounds pretty good!

    Thanks, that was excellent! :BEER

I am guessing they are worth a try.

No problemo! With the help of this board Ive learned quite a lot about certain tube types-specifically 12AX7's and such. Just passing along what others have taken the time to pass along to me.

ANY EF86 out of Western Europe (NOS) is good.
