I'm mostly retired, I only work because I want to. I guess it comes from working construction all my life, where everything had to be done by yesterday. This morning, I'm going out to run a few errands, and I literally thought of attempting to shave (electric), while brushing my teeth! WTF!

Me too!! I really need work on this aspect of my life. I always feel rushed and bummed I'm not getting more done. And I am a contractor. So I am always trying to multitask as well as hurry. I need to really really work on it. Good call

If I'm doing stuff around the house not at all. If I'm at the grocery store self checkout, pumping gas, leaving a parking space, merging into the highway etc. then yes I usually try to be a fast as possible. I hate being the asshole holding other people up, clearly karma is ********.

I'm very rarely in a hurry. I often drive like I am though. :D

It depends on the situation. If I'm running behind for a scheduled event, then yes. Otherwise, no.

Only if I'm behind a woman who's trying to figure out how to use a roundabout.

Yeah I'm in a hurry a lot. Between school and work and family I have a really busy life. It wasn't always this way but the last three years or so have been just insanely busy. My wife and I are both having to pick up odd jobs to help pay the bills while I'm in school so almost every moment of every day is filled up with some kind of activity. Actually got a job as a delivery driver and sometimes two or three hours will go by between deliveries and I actually enjoy those times because I have nothing else to do but sit and wait and do nothing.

I'm working for the health insurance and to build up the 401K just a tad more. Otherwise, I'd rather be practicing and playing with my band of old men and ladies.

Four more years, maybe. That's it, then on to become a rock 'n roll legend (in my own mind).

I knew a bass player who sold real estate. He was always in a hurry. One time I was riding in his car and he had gotten chewing gum on the bottom of his shoe, Instead of stopping, he opens the door and sticks his foot out and rubs the bottom of his shoe on the pavement...at 45 mph......

I feel like I'm in a hurry or late a lot, but it's my fault mostly. I'm a lazy Fer.

I don't consider it to be in a hurry to get irritated at people who are afraid of right turn on red or who think yield means stop and stop means stop and count to 20. If anyone else could be behind me or waiting on me on foot or in a vehicle, I always move with a sense of urgency. My mantra is "no one will ever have to wait because of me." I just wish I could stop expecting that of others.

Not often, but still am most of the time when behind the wheel.

After two years, I haven't completely adjusted from city rush hour driving to a rural setting.

I chirped, then beeped, and then full-tilt HONKED at a bimbo meandering all over the road at 2mph approaching a stop light - when I passed her in the turn lane I could see she was totally oblivious to the outside world, talking on the phone (loud mouthed, self-absorbed, I could just hear the words "Blah blah blah blah..." coming out of her mouth). My polite chirping and honking at her had NO effect whatsoever...

Yep, I've actually got to get going now. Bye.
