Aren't we going to run out of NOS tubes?

    I don't recall the 80s modern tubes since it was still relatively cheap to get NOS tubes then. No change in objective quality since the 90s...same reject % on initial testing.

    I have not cared for quite some time now. I can get my tones out of modern production tubes and, with the way that modern SS and modeling are evolving, I'm almost finding that all tubes are unnecessary these days!

    Considering everything else that has been given the "handcrafted/bespoke" treatment it is a little surprising that people aren't making modern boutique tubes to sell at NOS+ prices. This is probably because it takes actual time and skill. Much easier to make another TS808 clone in a prettier box.

    Once the Ebay types only throw around the term ANOS [and not NOS] we will be close.
