anyone make one?
not that i know of. theres one on ebay uk going cheap.
I have an old roktek chorus that was suppossedly made by Arion and is a clone. Bout to get it rehoused.
you could try the xotic effects true bypass sch-z.
I wish they would. I don't know why no one hasn't done it already. Talk about a pedal going fast. There is a lot of love for the Arion chorus pedals. People would definitely purchase them.
Hmmm. How are these different from a CE-2, say?
Someone does.. or something similar. I came across it searching when I looked for a chorus pedal. I'll try to find it again.
just bought a used SCH-1. Who can re-house and mod for true-bypass ?
drasp or this1smyne.
Here is a company that makes them rehoused
For the the SCH-1 even when true bypass looped was still a tone sucker, then tried the SCH-Z no tone suck but not near as good. Just decided to look for another chorus.
That's not an SCH-1
How can it be a tone sucker in a true-bypass loop? Voodoo, Mojo, or just black magic? And what about poor Michael Landau...How does he possibly suffer through it?
Killer reply Jack! The SCH-1 is pretty cool for that faux leslie thing. Give a listen to Landau or GregV's Tailgate Troubador to hear it. I would like to try the EWS SCH-Z-the clip from Michael Thompson sounds really good.
I loce my SCH-1. Awesome chorus AND leslie effect.
I'm pretty sure EWS/prosound will mod the Z or the 1. they don't re-house.
If the Arion is based off of the Boss CE-2, here's something a little more boutique:
How about the stereo SFL-1 Flanger ? I love the leslie of this pedal. Never heard the chorus version. Does someone do the tru-bypass mod for these also ?
it's not. The ce2 is muddy. Arion is very clear and sweet sounding.
Analog Man does true bypass mod on the pedal. I plan on sending mine to have the mod done. http://www.analogman.com/graphics/arionchorusmod.jpg
From what I understand the circuit is fragile and not so easy to rehouse.
