I got mine from Amazon yesterday.

It only took Netflix one and a half years to release to DVD. I've watched it on Netflix a couple different times over that period, but I have satellite internet and it's not the best for streaming.

And yeah, I know it's not as good as the original series, but it has it's good moments, and it's part of the AD history. My AD DVD collection is now complete.

I heard the episodes were going to be re edited and a version in chronological order was going to be released?

I haven't heard that. The DVD is the same as the Netflix original release.
There is an extra on the DVD with Script Supervisor on how all the stories came together. I haven't watch it yet.

A fan edit exists. IMHO, it's much more watchable. I barely made it through S4.

I'm a little confused as to why you'd buy the DVD when you can always watch it on Netflix.

Unable to stream in HD, poor internet service.

    DVD bonus features.

Netflix might not always have it available.

Some folks just like owning an actual hard copy.

As I said in my first post, poor streaming on a my satellite internet connection and I can only watch over night or early in the morning because of limits.

AD is one of those shows that you see something new every time you watch (and re-watch) an episode.

Also, I have all the other DVD's from the series.

Awesome! Season 4 got a lot better after the first few episodes. It started off very awkwardly.

Like the rest of the series, season 4 is far more enjoyable on the 2nd-3rd-4th viewing.

It's just as layered and well planned as the other 3 seasons.

Agreed. And I get it if you've already collected them all and want to keep all hard copies. Let us know if there is bonus content!

I agree, but I found it considerably less enjoyable. I loved seeing the characters play off of each other, and it seems like something's missing by focusing on one character at a time. I still enjoyed it, though. Glad Netflix gave it anustart ;)

Never finished season 4. Loved the first three seasons, just couldn't handle S4.

Not sure I can muster the interest for that. I'd much rather just re-watch S1-3 again.

I loved the 4th season, but it took almost half of the episodes before they got around to showing everyone what they were doing. It was a long build up, and I think that turned a lot of people off. The second viewing was insanely better than the first, just like every other season.

Also, it gave us the Roofie Circle. :D

The Roofie Circle was one of the highlights.

"Why don't you go away Getaway
    Stay away Getaway
    Get away Getaway
    You're hopelessly hopeless
    Get away
    Getaway..."

After first hearing it, I was forever getting that song out of my head.
