I work in a small, local music store
that's been around for many, many years.
As a part of a "refreshing" of our image,
we've implemented several new cool "tricks"
around the store in an effort to bridge
the ever-widening gap between student and pro.

One of these tricks is a powered SKB pedalboard
that we set up as a display with a rotating cast
of various pedals and setups (Boss, MXR, Digitech, EH, etc).
I've recently begun setting the board up
with "pedalboards of the stars" setups, detailing each
pedal, what it does, how it's used, etc.
The most recent artists have been Jack White and Nels Cline.

I need help folks. Any ideas for next week's artist?
I'm at a complete loss. Thanks much.

    cheers.

    Checkout guitargeek.com

They have dozens upon dozens of pro boards. Some are a bit out-dated, but most are fairly accurate. Except The Edge's. His is a couple decades off.

Do a Satch/Vai board. It seems 90% of kids who walk into guitar stores end up buying that gear.

    Tom Morello:
    -2 Boss DD-2 (replaced by 2 DD-3)
    -Boss TR-2
    -MXR Phase 90
    -Dunlop Wah
-Dod Eq (I´m not sure if it´s still in production, a GE-7 could replace it)
-Digitech WH-1 (you´ll probably have to take the WH-4 instead)
Remember that everything is used within the amps effects loop, even the wah.

I thought he used an JCM 800 ... as far as I know, there is no FX-Loop on that amp. Am I wrong?

:bow that is such a good idea! Good luck with that.

And I'd love to see your version of Nels Cline's board.

You've got to do some sort of Hendrix-inspired board.
