A's propose new Privately built Stadium

    I know. It's just wistful resignation to the sad reality that they're gone. Planning on going to the last game on the 24th. Can't even remember the last time I was in Jack London Square, but I hear the waterfront area is undergoing a nice renaissance. I would think parking would be a requirement to building that place. Maybe underground. I left the Bay before the A's were even there, but my grandfather become a fan the day they moved in. They'll always have a soft spot with me.

    Hey I hear ya. But I've given up my Raider-fandom at this point. gruden lying to us all did me in.

    Privately financed should be in scare quotes here. The land deal and infrastructure improvements will amount to a few hundred million in public subsidies.
