Let's just make Vince McMahon the Commissioner of the NFL and get on with it.

The Vikings used to do this too, years back.

If the Patriots throw under-inflated footballs in the Georgia Dome, do those two things cancel each other out?

Really? Sports events, concerts, TV, just about every one does this. Do you really think Kelly and Michael get that much screaming out of a 300 seat audience when they say something like "Minnesota"? Do the NJ Devils, with 5000 people in an 18,000 seat arena really get that deafening roar instantly when someone says "make some noise"?

Seriously doubt New Orleans needs any "help". Watch the broad brush there...

I hate to break it to the NFL, but many teams have been playing crowd noise into their PA's, and it's been more than two seasons.
I've heard deafening crowd noise, then looked around, and nobody's cheering, or at least not what you hear.
Seattle is insanely loud, but that's just the fans and the stupid peaky PA announcer.

Another reason to hate playing indoor football.

I cannot for the life of me understand domed football in the South. It's un-American damnit.

Who on earth thinks PA "help" could/would only be indoors?

^ Well, you and another mentioned 'dome teams', so not exactly a stretch...

    Aren't you a Cowboys fan?

Not happy about this at all if true. Freaking Rich McKay is on the competition and rules committee, we've got to be beyond reproach based on that alone.

This reeks of Dimitroff's doings. If we're found guilty and fined and/or stripped of a draft pick, I've got to think Blank gives Young Thomas his walking papers and lets Pioli run the show. I don't want Pioli in charge of everything like he was in KC, I want him focusing on personnel only, not how many blue pens there are at Flowery Branch.

Ideally he would hire Quinn and let him pick his own GM.

Quinn is getting hired Tuesday regardless. We'll see what happens. Dimitroff has a reputation of being easy to work with, and allegedly he's created a very positive environment in Flowery Branch. I'm not a fan of the FA's he's signed or some of his draft picks, but it's been coming out since Mike Smith was fired a lot of the draft picks were Smith's guys, and Dimi got them for Smith. Last year Dimi wanted a pass rusher, but Smith and Nolan wanted big guys to stop the run, and Nolan swore his scheme would generate pressure with lesser talent. Dimi got them their big guys instead of pass rusher like he wanted, many we see how that turned out.
