I'm building my own homemade pedalboard using the matrix of holes design similar to the tonebone boneyard. I'm a little concerned as to how i will place it on the pedal board. Velcro would be fine but is it ok to remove the rubber feet?

There are companies that make wah plates for velcro-ing to your board.

I used my wah's bottom plate as a template, drilled 4 holes, and got longer screws at the hardware store to bolt it down from underneath (and left the rubber feet on). That sucker ain't going anywhere now.

+1 on the stomping ground. It works really well, I've had one on my wah for the last 3 years and it doesn't move at all.

I just removed the rubber feet, flipped the bottom plate over and attached velcro to it, and reused the screws from the feet - no problemo...

That's exactly the way I mounted mine ... not hard to do at all.

A forumite named TDavis builds some great wha plexiglass backplates with velcro. These are the same as the stompin'ground but less expensive.

I have two of his plates, can't be happier!

That works great with the Fulltone wahs (I did the same thing), but the vox wahs at least -- not sure about the crybabies -- have screws that are just a little too long, so when you screw them in without the rubber feet, the bottom plate doesn't fit snug to the wah housing and it can slide back and forth.

I use a stompin' ground plate for my vox.

I removed the rubber, shaved the screws and threw velcro on.
