I need your expertise and help here! I want to be able to do a couple of different things on the iPad 2 simultaneously: let's say running the 3.0 Midi Player and Garageband, so I can run a MIDI file in 3.0 and play over a guitar with the amps provided by Garageband. I have the Apogee Jam for that. Mine iPad 2 is not jailbroken yet. Do I have to jailbreak it in order to achieve audio multitasking? Thank you in advance!!!

I don't think jailbreaking is worth it and plus it probably won't solve the multitasking issue.

Why? I thought that turning the iPad 2 in a computer will pretty much make it multitaskable?

yes you can use backgrounder to multi task on the ipad, the only problem is that you are using an iPad 2 which are more difficult to jailbreak as opposed to the ipad 1, depending on what firmware youre running. Jailbreaking is pretty great and reversable. If you have any questions you could pm me.
