Just wanted to give a heads up to the TGP members. We're having another ampfest in Austin, same place, Music Lab off of Oltorf. This time we're going to try and seperate the brutal high gainers and vintagey boutique stuff with multiple rooms on the top floor. Sign in sheet is over on HCAF here:

If we are not playing that night, I'll be bringing either:

    Budda SD 30 with a Splawn 2x12

    or

Valvetech Hayseed 30 head with a matching 2x12 with Red Fangs.

Would probably load up the pedal board and bring it up too, along with one of my Fano guitars.

Would be a lot of fun!

Awesome! Im bringing my pedals too, but mainly for the vintage guys who want to try out some fuzzes. I want to hear those old Voxes and that AD-80! And I never get tired of hearing echoplex. I need to pick me up one of those4 Fulltone versions...

I was going to bring my Superbass but nobody really wanted to check it out last time.

Hopefully we're playing a show afterwards so if they want to hear it they have to come out. :p

Cool, maybe we can compare both seems all concerts vary in tone. Mine has no gain but some great Plexi meets BF cleans. What speakers and tubes are you running in yours? The harmonic vibrato is awesome too, with the speed on 4, intensity on 10 it does a great univibe like warble.

Mine actually has a great over driven tone when cranked. The guy that rehabbed it and sold it to me will be there as well.

It has NOS RCA's in the power section, and Webers in the bottom and speakers from a '74 super reverb in the top.

It certainly gets gnarly with the right boost pedal :)

    Bump

Please know we are going to be quite a bit more organized this go around.

The low gain/vintage stuff will be separate from the high gain stuff. Unlike the last Ampfest there will be fewer volume wars and we'll try to start up a jam to get more people involved at once.

Which webers? Did you get the amp from World Of Tone? I saw his concert with 2 webers and 2 CTS on the vintage amp forums. I have RCA blackplates and stock brown Oxfords in mine, Im looking for better speakers with some early breakup at the moment.

    That's the one :BEER

You'd have to ask him which specific Webers it has. I just play it and it sounds amazing.
