Just curious if anyone has any opinions. Looking at these 2. I have a Vin30 or GH30 I can put in one. I'm leaning Avatar Vintage G112 as I think the angle will help. Will be used with a BUdda SD45 and a Lil dawg tweed D-lux combo.

I would pick the Badger 1x12 over the CAE 1x12 based on what I have heard.

Still like the Vintage Avatar for price vs. performance.

Thanks. I've been noticing a thread on a Mather cab also. There's definitely a few options out there. Just looking for good value. I'm guessing I'll go with Avatar as its good quality stuff at a really good price.

i just got a used avatar open back vintage and put a texas heat in there-have not gigged it yet so i'm not sure how much the (slightly)slanted baffle helps you hear better, but i figure it can't make things worse !

That angled baffle is huge in my opinion. The Mather hawkeye has it apparently also. I struggle to hear a single 12 (or even a 2x12) on stage so anything like an angle helps.

I haven't tried a CAE but I just picked up a Avatar vintage 112 with a Hellatone 60L speaker and it's a great little cab. I wanted something I could use with my Germino head when I can't carry my big cab, and I didn't want to spend too much. The only thing I don't like so far is the handle, which feels a little flimsy. I'll probably replace the handle but other than that the cab is very cool, especially for $244 shipped.
