    prince is great.
he really needs to make a new record to reconvey this to the next generation.
his newer records are way too watered down compared to this live stuff...
he should just do a straight badass guitar heavy live album.
    great clip...thanks.

yeah i noticed on his albums it's mostly synth stuff.

this same song "fury" , the album version is basically all synth, no guitar.

when he plays his stuff like it's usually heavy guitar. i don't understand why he wouldn't just record it that way.

I saw Prince at Radio City many years ago when he was backed by the Power Generation......(1992 or 1993) It was an amazing show...I was not a Prince fan before that concert, but became one after it....He is one super talented musician......

I can't stand most of his music, but he is a great performer.

    I remember watching that SNL.

One of Prince's weakest tunes, but he still sold it more than most people playing a better tune.

Prince is one of a kind.

i saw pricne on tv once, i am trying to track this footage down but have never been able to.

it was a performance, he played a big guitar solo, then took a bass, did some funk slap bass stuff, then sat at the piano and did a whole song on there.

Cool. .. but in truth, I far prefer his funk stuff as me thinks it's mind blowingly original ...
and totally contagious to the ear & the feet ...
