Time for all the false TGP tropes; i’ll try to get them all out of the way right now. Although I might miss a few.

The Fractal AxeFx3 just too deep, you gotta tweak the crap out of it to get toobs toanz as the rabbit hole goes deep, and the AxeFx2 has a poor GUI, and with all the 3’s FW updates it can’t sustain a touring pro.

And don’t forget in a mix no one can tell the difference between a pod and an axefx3. It all gets eq’ed at the desk any ways.

I can’t get amp in the room with a modeler.

Well, he’s got roadies for load-in & out. That 4 space rack is a pita; I want it all to fit in my fanny pack.

I only use one or 2 core tones. I don’t see the need for 250 amplifiers.

Touring artist only use their gear because they get paid to do so.

There must be a “real amp” Hidden behind the stage somewhere.

And finally, “that’s not John Mayer”… Or better yet “who is that”, or “maybe dude can’t afford a proper amp” whatever the hell that means...?

When did we decide on a zero-tolerance policy for humor? Make fun of the gear I use all you want. My feelings won't be hurt; I promise.

Well John played one at the biggest corporate music events on the West coast, I should rush out and get one too. Unless he decides to play a Pignose at Bonnaroo cause of course then I'll need to sell my Ax for a pignose.

Maybe he was like F this place I ain't hauling my good gear out for this... the Ax sounds good enough for this crowd

Don't forget the standards: "He's a SRV knock off", "I can't stand John Mayer etc.." (Insert personal feelings here) that someone always feels obligated to post

The rhythm guitarist's tube amp is just crushing John in the mix. These modelers just can't compete. Can't hear that solo at all........ ;)

    Mayer + PRS + Modeller.

IDK, there are times I just feel like Mayer is trolling TGP. ;)

Yup; did a double take on the headstock and the body. One said PRS the other said Strat. Did not know ... sounded good, but not sure I’d want my PRS to be a S-type :dunno
