AxeFx Wizards! How to use AxeFx as an A/B box: Axe/Real amp

Here's what I am doing:
I have an external radial switcher.
Chain is Guitar-Axe- switcher- A goes to P.A. - B goes to front of PT50
I have an IA that toggles the amp, cab, and eq sims in the patches.
I then use the switcher to go to the amp and use just the effects of that patch into the front of the amp. Works OK, but the signal is pretty loaded down from the Axe going to the amp.

Here's what I want to do:
Lose the switcher.
Output one balanced out to the P.A.
Output 2 unbalanced to the amp.
One IA switch to toggle off the amp, cab and eq's while simultaneously switching from output 1 to output 2 without a big signal drop.

So, I could be playing and AC30 in the Axe with a few effects and with one punch on an IA switch to the PT and use the same effects. Then be able to do this on any Axe patch.

Is this possible?
Thanks!!

Totally doable... Quick and dirty way, copy the VOX preset your using into another (so there next to one another) and place an FX block at the end of that chain, loose the amp, cab sims and shunts to O/P 1 in that preset... the FX block supplies the signal to O/P 2 and you have your A/B switch Via the Axe. You may have to adjust the levels via the global EQ gain to help balance things out.

Nice! Thanks 6 string.

Quick question: How do you lose the outputs to op1? Will the mixer in the fx loop do that? Or are you saying to delete all the amp and cab sims and somehow turn off op1 in that patch?

Forgive me. I am still new to the AxeFx.

No problem... don't continue the shunts to O/P 1 and that will stop any signal to that OP.

So your second preset would look like something like this...

INPUT]-[DLY]-[VERB]-[FX] (nothing here) [OUTPUT = no out put signal to OP/1
