    http://www.scottlernermusic.com/axe/DminAxeFx.mp3 (complete with crappy ending!)

    Take 2 - More tooth. http://scottlernermusic.com/axe/DminAxeFx2.mp3

This is more of a playing clip than gear demo clip so I posted here. Howver, since this is the Axe Fx I felt it worthy to mention prominantly. ;)

More tweaks to the HAD patch in the Axe FX. Trying to get that smooth horn like thing. I need to record another with my Carruthers CSA guitar. This is the Baker B1. Not as airy or open as the Carruthers.

Also, I spaced the ending a little. I may punch a new ending later with the Carruthers to get a good A/B in the same clip.

    Thanks for listening.

On my MacPro here at work, the sound seems messed up (normally your clips sound amazing). Maybe it's my computer...

Clip sounds incredible, as does the playing. Please ignore my previous post...

    Sounds great!
I'd like to hear you trading 8's with Chuck on a tune like this.

Wow. Very cool. Great, playing, the tone is There.

Scott, I've always liked that you keep everything melodic and lyrical even when the faster stuff starts happening. Maybe especially when the faster stuff starts happening. I don't hear chops, I hear music.

    Hi Scott.

I didn't realize that you had gone AxeFx. Given your amp history, that's quite an endorsement. Maybe we can talk about it at NAMM a bit. And the tone is definitely Scott Lerner in every sense. I never would have guessed that it was anything other than a tube amp.

Both sound ridiculous. As far as tone, I think I like the first better, little more clear/articulate. Playing is again off the hook! Still doesn't have the low-end complexity of the real thing. Sounds great regardless. I have a hard time paying attention to the tone cause the playing is so good. :)

Both are nice, but I prefer the first.

I really dig your latest clips, Scott..can't say much detailed stuff about the tone, and have no real preference out of the Axe-stuff yet, but it sounds great to me!

Scott, could you share how you dialed that in (PM me if you don't want to pollute this thread with it). I'd like to try that sound tomorrow morning in our worship set.

    Thanks.
