Grabbing a mid 60s b-15. Any opinions on the best 6sl7s for these?
There's russian ones out there that are good. Check with CW on Weber forum.
Thanks kindly Mike!
Any bubbly nos jobbies that won't break the bank?
The new Tung Sols are about the best for noise ratio and tone.
I agree with Slider on TS's for current production.
For NOS, there are JAN 6188's which are sturdy, sound excellent and we know they work great in B15's. Ampeg used these in their limited edition USA Heritage B15 reissue.
Thank you Doug!
