If you haven't already heard Back Door Slam, you owe it to yourself to check them out. I think they're the most promising new band I've heard in years, and they're only 20 years old. "Come Home" is an unbelievably good song, with great playing and tone.

Does anyone know what gear they use?

Has anyone else discovered these guys yet?

In a lot of the Youtube clips I see they are using quite a few different amps, most recently it looks like blackface Fenders, I think sometimes a Twin. This link is from their website, they use custom amps by a company called Don Audio, built on the Isle of Man, where the band is from.

I agree that they are a killer band, I hope to catch them at a show. They had one coming up in my area, but for some reason it got cancelled. Fantastic band!

I saw them twice in Philly. Great band! Davy (singer/guitarist) was using a BF Twin Reverb with a Champion 600 amp on top at the first show. The second show he just used the BFTR. He used a Crybaby, "Mosfet" FD2 and an MXR overdrive (green)? in the first show and only the Crybaby and Mosfet FD2 in the second show.

Wow, great band, superb guitar player (and he's only 21)...... From their 'Roll Away' CD, really love the tone on the slow blues "Gotta Leave." Anyone know the amps/gear he used in the studio?
