I haven't played that model, but I owned a Hot Cat model, and it was a well built, great sounding amp. I'd highly recommend them.

I've also played other Bad Cat models that I was very impressed with.

    Fine hand wired amps.

Must try several with various speaker configurations.

Top quality transformer iron also makes them heavy.

Strongly recommended separate head and cab for weight management.

I have three of their amps and I think they are as good as it gets. well built, great, great sound. they've been around for a while, not like some amp companies who have been here a year or two. they back their products. I have the Panther, the 'lil 15 and the classic deluxe. total quality.

Hot Cat 30R head owner here. One of my personal favorite amps. So versitile and so many tones available with that signature voice. I can't comment on the Classic Cat as I havent not played one. Panther is next on my list to try out!

I picked up a used Cub 15 Reverb (version 1) combo for under $1K a few years back and still get lost in the beautiful Voxy cleans and reverb.

The build is impeccable, it's a beautiful looking amp (burgundy fake leather and silver grille cloth). Also, takes pedals -- especially the Fullton Fulldrive II very well.

This one isn't going anywhere soon...

I've had 2 different BadCats (Tone Cat & Hot Cat 30R). Both sound rich, however both have a 'buzziness' quality to their sound when playing at bedroom levels.

Panther R head is next on my list, along with a JTM45/100 - Metro/Germino/Wallace sourced I suppose.

I had a Classic Cat Reverb. A little boxy at lower volume, but if you can get it cooking around 3/4 volume it's one of the best Tele / blues amps I've uesd.
