Anybody else? You're the first guy to get one! All of those that have come by the shop that have played on it feel free to jump in.

I just left the BadCat shop. Having spent some time with the Fat Cat 50 (great name BTW!), I would describe it as a very refined '59 Bassman. Toggling between the tone stack and tone wheel, you can go from Setzer's bebop jangle and grit to early JTM45 grind or anywhere in between. It can also do sublime Blackface tones and when you blend in the 3 knob reverb, it's very reminiscent of Chris Isaacs' Wicked Game tone. Hope that helps.

Since you're the first you'll have to ship it around the country to show us all how it sounds.

    Please start with Florida.

First one ?!?!?! My band " Avaeya" goes into the recording studio June 11-14. No doubt the Fat Cat will be used, I have a few parts in mind that the reverb on this amp should nail. Clips to come shortly thereafter.

If I post this , it's going to get moved to the manufacturers section but take a look. I realize it's not the Fat Cat, that will be up Tuesday. We are releasing this next week as well.

The specs on the amp alone, can't help
    but cause well warranted curiosity.

More than anything I am interested in the reverb on it. Super excited to have such flexibility.

I played my Tele through the Fat Cat (before it's completion). John and I just looked at each other when I ran it through the bridge pickup and couldn't believe it. Thick, meaty, complex overtones. Like all Bad Cat amps it reacts like crazy to your pick attack.

I may head over there tomorrow on lunch break to give it a twang or two.

Super excited, I am heading out today to make my way down south to go to the factory tomorrow. Hopefully you guys will have a Fat Cat for me to try out (Bryan said he thinks you should)

Just got my Fat Cat. Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I like it much better than my Black Cat. The Fat Cat is just much more relaxed in the mids, which I just love. It sounds and feels amazing. Just stunning clean to slight break-up tones!

Man. The buzz on this amp makes me wish I had a fat cat rather than a black cat.

I saw a great clip of John and his coworker playing this amp with a Les Paul. It sounded like it was really nailing that Sticky Fingers tone, which got me pretty pumped up! I'm liking so many of the Bad Cat amps based on the clips, but now I'm really torn between the Black Cat and the Fat Cat. Can't you hear me knockin'?
