Any news on The Great Paw Heist of 2020?!

Also, out of curiosity, where is the loop in the signal path?

Would like to know as well.

With outboard od/dist/fx right into the loop, what controls/functions/tube stages are in the signal path ?

    Hello everybody ,
The effects loop on The PAW is located post K Master , Pre input to the Class D. It is stereo out and stereo return.
We are assembling cabinets and unloading pallets of speakers. We are just waiting on final PCB approval and should be building units in two weeks .
    Busy !!!
Oh, yes, and we just moved our shop to a nicer , bigger location. Busy indeed.
    Thank you for the patience.
    John

    799. for a bad cat? whoa!!! Ok so its sort of a production model in stereo but not really because its got pre amp tubes only? no power tubes? hmm... Is that why the cub demo sounded better or not really? Does it have software I mean what the 16 Irs are built in or no? I could see me using this in the studio actually but also very cool to play live in stereo...and Bad Cat cabs can be ordered in stereo but not sure if thats the same as having more division. hmm so Id like to see the back personally. Whats with the small speaker thing? Thats kinda like what Boss did lol with their head. I dont get the point of that...If you have k-master I mean...why the little speakers...for recording or playing in an apartment? How do you share the Irs? Is there Bad Cat software now?????

Too many questions..Such a low price..Id like to get more info on this but probably won't get it.. It be cool to play bad cat in stereo but how does this really stand up against a production line Bad Cat without power tubes? I love my Hot cat (my main live rig) but I don't think this would match this even in stereo...Would you be willing to sacrifice power tubes for stereo? How is this like a Kemper? Kemper is Digital. This has software? I guess I am really curious by anything Bad Cat because I love my Hot cat...This does seem like it be a better recording tool than a live amp but can't tell from that video.....With 16 Irs to choose from and share etc. I dunno...Im pretty interested. But I record in mono twice and pan out so that could be interesting in the studio.

Cool! Maybe Ill order one and make a demo so we all know. Bad Cat for 799. well thats a fraction of a production model anything.....Def. interesting....Can you make a Hot Cat version he he...kidding.

Seems like a great grab and go but also more of a studio thing. Whjeres the software? I mean how do I get or choose the IRs for say Logic? Are they built in? For 799. may as well just order one and see how it holds up to a production line. Im more than a little curious.

I think because thats a production Cub (nice amp) and the other 799. The Paw has no power tubes...I could be wrong but yeah the first "The Paw" demo sounded sterile in comparison to the actual Cub so not sure myself but if it sounds like a Bad Cat for 799...then ok...Hard to believe but ok Id get one just to find out.

It’s a great amp. I hate that I let one go a few years back.

I mentioned it before but I would totally pay money for just the IR pack that comes in the Paw. I haven't come across good IRs of the Bad Cat speaker out there. I'd especially love a good Bad Cat 4x12 since I'm currently playing my Hot Cat direct through a load box most of the time.

Just got an email that Musicians Friend cancelled my preorder. Not pleased, at all.

Still looking forward to seeing demos and getting one, but I’m gonna need to call them and find out what happened...

Updated update: turns out that they tried to charge me today, but for whatever reason PayPal didn’t cooperate. I called them up and gave them new payment info, but it has to be processed as a new order, so I’ll have to wait a few weeks longer.

I’m still a bit bummed; if they were charging my account, it was supposed to ship soon (today?!) But at least I should still get one this month.

Bad Cat, care to ease my pain with those demos?!

Hopefully the ship delay is short-lived.

Bring forth all the in-the-wild insight..!
