I almost never call my ibby an "ibby". Too close to gibby.

My only "stomp box" is a mic'd wooden plank for adding the "floppy boot stomp" to certain recordings.

For some reason I don't mind Gibby or Lester but I agree with the "she" or "her" thing and I straight up cannot stand "axe". Say that to me and I literally will immediately think a little less of you.

A "Blackguard" is an early 50's Tele, NOT any Tele with a black pickguard.

The Tele Twinkies at TDPRI don't seem to understand this.

Not really a term, but it's a peave of mine when people say "rosewood neck" when referring to a neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pups is also really annoying. Does anybody actually speak that or is it just written to be short? Could you imagine being asked, "what kinda pups are those?"

"butah," as in "plays like "butah"

(I know it's not a guitar name, but it's used to describe guitars.)

"Hog" for mahogany. Unless your guitar is made of bacon, stop it.

    Yes.
Do female guitarists refer to their instruments as "He" or "Him"?

Axe, GAS is ridiculous, the whole "PRS" community lingo just kills me, most of the tone terms...I could go on and on.
