Bad switch pop with Timmy in loop

I got a Timmy a while back but never really did find a good use for it. Last week I put it in the loop of my Runt 50 and I finally get it. Gain is down with volume up. Bass and treble cut back a little which gets a killer smooth and warm lead boost.

The only problem now is that the switch pop is terrible. I've tried it as the only thing in the loop and cycling the switch to get rid of any capacitance but it doesn't help.

Anybody running a Timmy in the loop have any ideas or is it just something to live with?
