So I was down at Wild West Guitars today checkin out some beautiful amps when I came across this tiny little Badcat amp. It said it was 15watts witch I could barely believe. So I had to give it a try. And wow! It sounded better than alot of the amps I had just played with more watts! It had two foot switchable channels witch sounded huge! Anyway I was blown away that this amp put out such beautiful tones. Check one out if you can.

I played one at Pasadena Guitars (new shop, killer place) and I really liked the amp. Sounded fantastic through with a 1x12 Blue cab.

Watts and tone have no relationship.

I have been curious about these amps, one channel 12AX7 the other EF86, specs like a scaled down Black Cat ?

Is that it, gain and tone wise, or is it something completely new for them ? Hot Cat amounts of gain ?

I'd say it is much more open, and less compressed than the Hotcat. I kinda AB'd them as they where side by side. The Hotcat has a more compressed growl and the lil'15 is just loud and cutting overdrive.

NO relationship? I disagree. More wattage =more bottom end-to name one thing.
