Ballpark Fretboard Replacement Cost?

What's an approximate range for replacing a fingerboard - not including cost of the board?

Figure for the sake of argument someone buys a recent Gibson with Richlite and wants to swap to ebony, say (this is purely hypothetical, I neither own a Richlite Gibson, nor want to argue about the material).

I see guys having recent LPs done with Brazilian, for example, but it's always part of some larger 'package', and I was just curious as to the labor cost for just board replacement.

Binding, inlay, et al...is it $200? $700? $3000? $1,000,000?

Wide range of variables like finish and binding, inlays and woods. What's the guitar that needs the fb replaced and what do you want to replace it with?

Like I said...it's purely hypothetical.

But let's say for the sake of discussion it's a Les Paul Custom that needs an ebony board replaced. I'm just wondering, is the labor component in the low hundreds? High hundreds? Thousands?

I'm not looking for a quote, just a ballpark idea what this kind of thing might cost.

It would run $400-$500 through my shop all included for ebony. That's parts, labor & finish.
