I've had all the LTD's, sliver, V1, V2, Flat EQ, Gain Changer & 1/2 Gainer..
The green LED V1 LTD is my favorite overdrive pedal. I still have my red LED V1 & 1/2 Gainer.
I love my Tubescreamers, but they can't do what an LTD does.
The V1 LTD green LED has the best midrange of any pedal I've come across.
It will cut thru any mix and still retain your natural tone somehow..
I know it has slightly different components than the red LED V1. The green is the best OD.
I still have my Maxon 808 & Aramat modded TS9 and I will always have them.
If you want a great sounding pedal to put in front of a clean amp my LTD V1 is king!

I won't list all the OD pedals I've owned, but it's well over 100 the past 20 years. Thank god for TGP, Ebay & Reverb to be able to buy and sell without losing my ass..

This is just one dude's opinion and can only speak for myself..

Only if you exclude the v1 Tone Pump.

    I'll never give mine up.

    :)

(He has many killer pedals, to be sure)

@el34junior ~ When was the LTD V1 made? I had a silver LTD that I still miss ... at that time, there was a black LTD and a silver LTD available, and I think the big Tone Pumps and Burn Units were still being built. Did the V1 come after the black and silver models?

V1 was the first. Don't know if the green or red LED was the first production run.
I'm sure a TGP member knows..

And how about the SR? That’s the green led one with white knobs. I loved that one. The green led you’re referring to is the black knob version correct?

2004 for all my green LED LTD's.
    I have a red V1 LED that's stamped 2005.
That answers my question,, the green LED was first..

Just stumbled onto this thread. Original owner of the white knob, green LED version, dated "Barber 2009" (and signed by "Ronni"!). I've used it here and there, but it has been off my board. I just put it in front of my blackface twin reverb. I didn't get much out of it, and even opened it up to see if the battery was weak. It wasn't.

Can you guys provide your settings. It's a simple box. Also, how are internal bass and presence set?

    Thanks.
