I just got a Barber Tone Press, and it is doing some wierd things... when I dig in a play with some strong attack, the signal cuts off entirely. I have to turn it off then back on again to get my sound back on. Sometimes if I only press down partially on the switch, it cuts in or out.

I have been using the standard boss 9 volt adapter, and put a battery in it as well. Before I put the battery in, it seemed to have even more issues like this.

Is it an issue of my power supply and/or battery?! Help!

If under warranty, return it, coz it's faulty. Should not be doing this - and I've had 2 Tone Presses.

Thanks... they replied instantly to my email. I need to check the bias trim pot apparently.

    Great product, btw!

Just got mine, and I'm lovin' it. Were you able to correct your issue with the trim pot?
