Barber users, which Barber OD/Dist for a Barber Noob?

Which Barber pedal should I look at for crunch to singing lead sounds?
I've never heard a Barber unit that I know of, but I love OD pedals and I've heard a lot about Barber's products. I've recently bought: OCD v.4, BoR, George Dennis The Tube, GD King Bee, and a Zoom Hyper Lead HL-01. I have a Rat, a Bad Monkey, a Zinky True Grit, and a bunch of others. What does Barber have that's compelling to ya'all? I really dig my new stuff, and I'd like to know if he makes something that would fit in with the first 3 pedals I listed. Thanks!

It all depends on what you're looking to accomplish. What kind of music are you playing and what kind of guitar are you playing?

The Small Fry is pretty cool. Can go from a little bit of grit to almost high gain (my stuff = humbuckers and Mesa Express).

Two very important knobs:

Dynamics - seems like it adds/subtracts compression and maybe adds some mid scoop.

Burn - gain and distortion

So Dynamics full down (7:00), burn at 12:00 - 1:00 = Voxy
Burn down (7:00), dynamics at 12:00 - 1:00 = Tweedish
Both Burn and Dynamics at 12:00 or more = Various degrees of Marshall or Mesa
Burn full up and Dynamics full down = Dumble (supposedly, sadly I wouldn't know)

Point is; a whole bunch of sounds and those two controls alone are very interactive. Add the tone control into the mix, plus your guitar controls and it's plenty going on.

I'm playing Strats, Teles, and Les Pauls into mostly Fender DR or SR, rarely a Marshall JCM 800 2x12 combo. Style varies from soft Praise Band to hard blues to rock. I want a pedal that I can turn down the guitar and clean up, like the OCD, and will drive hard. I was plugging in different things yesterday and tried a Bad Monkey into my OCD. Now there is some cool pick attack yet it wasn't too noisy. I like a rowdy sound that is refined if that makes sense...thanks.

Barber Tone Pump EQ - my fave OD pedal ever. It does exactly what you want & is two channel with independent control over gain & volume per channel.
