Loved your playing and tone. Nice bite without going over the top on the telecaster. Please post the backing so we can give it a try.

    Thanks,
    Jim

Hey John, please try again. It's probably some congestion on the line: I had around 1000 downloads on the file in the last 24hrs. It should be ok now. thanks.

    hey Marin-got it this morning-great playin/tone.
[I think the issue was Winamp-my default media-player in my browser doesnt like WMV. ]

I was just playing with my Tele/Bardens yersterday with a BB Xotic-which mellows the pick-ups out-but your tone is still fatter even on the back-pu.Must be the amp-the best I've heard them sound yet with your clips.:AOK

It is interesting because I've been on the OD pedal quest and then I discover that the amp on it's own sounds best!:jo

    thanks

    M.

P.S. I'm might be getting another Tele soon to host the Kinmans I had replaced.

Great tone, Marinblues. Makes me wonder though... I wonder what sage advice Hawk would offer about it?

marin-have you used the Kinmans before?-i had the vint strat pu's-they souned good but not much punch-so now Ive got harmonic design [not noiseless]

HD also makes tele pus-but i like having at least one guitar with noiseless pus in them.

    Thanks.

I have the Strat AVn Blues pickups and I am very happy with them.

Then I have the Avn48 (Broadcaster) Tele pickups and they're warm and don't have the icepick but it is more noticeable that they are stacked pickups (they lack that "vintage complexity"). When recorded this doesn't show up though. Here's a sample of the Kinmans straight into the amp:

I like 'em-think i like your amp too-what is it?
hmmm...are the Avn48 (Broadcaster) fairly hi output?? average?

Ive heard the Strat AVn Blues or even Woodstocks are pretty ballsey...

    thanks for this.

That was some sweet playin' Marin. Lovin' that tone too. Did you make those backing? Maybe you could post them for us to jam along too.

    Much appreciated!
