Are there any slips that I could put over my pedal switches to make playing electric guitar barefoot easier? Currently my aim has to be really good when switching effects on and off or tapping the tempo on my delay pedal and I am curious if anyone knows of any product or home made ideas/suggestions for something to go over traditional metal toggles so that they are broader thus easier to engage/disengage with a bare foot?

Yeah I have used amp feet for this ... ill have to look them up, but they are black hard rubber and have a metal washer inside and are just the right size... and since you are really flipping them over from their intended use, you get the rough side which gives better grip .... i use them for second tier stomps that can be hard to hit accurately sometimes

Do not play barefoot on a concrete basement floor or outside.

i always play with socks on--so i don't damage my pedal's finish. shoes/boots can leave scratches. dirty feet can smudge.

Once I have gone through the safety checklist, I am looking for ideas in broadening the foot-switches themselves. i don't care about the aesthetics of the pedal so much, i am just more comfortable playing without shoes on.

DonneR - What is the specific part name for those feet?

Do these look like them: Mojo Feet

Yes that is them I beleive --- I get them from CE wholesale, but keep forgetting to grab some for general consumption..... but yeah the hole with the metal insert is the same size as the stomp on most booteeks and makes a great way to hit the back row stomps easier .... and they just pop off so you can take them off to get the lid on a pedal board if needed ... I think youll dig them, enjoy.

Wow those feet are more expensive than I thought. Great idea though... will have to debate whether they'll be useful. Would make playing bearefoot more bearable... hmmm..... :)

I did! Thought it was misspelled (sorry, OP!).

Looks like a cool idea, but what's wrong with using pink slippers??? No scratches, no dirty feet smudges, comfy and quite stylish! ;)

I use a rubber sole. It's attached to my foot with a well-fitted cloth and laces
