Basket size: Celestion V30 vs. G12H

Hey all,

Anyone have both the Celestion V30 and G12H? I have a Deluxe Reverb that I had Mercury Magnetic trannies put in. Since then, my Tone Tubby AlNiCo won't fit anymore. I am able to fit a V30, with millimeters to spare. I don't like the low end response of the V30, and want to try the G12H, but it would only fit if it's the same size or smaller. Anyone know?

OK, looks like the standard G12H Classic is identical in size to the V30, but the Heritage has a slightly larger magnet (.4" larger).

So I guess the question is...with the G12H give me more low end in a DR combo?
